Funeral for Shirley Jean Johnson, 70, of Danville will Wed., April 10, at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson died Mon., April 8, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Limestone County to Thomas Herman Coffman and Maggie Childers Coffman. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. She was married to her husband, Jimmie Johnson for more than 53 years. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Danville. She enjoyed vacationing with her family, especially in the Smoky Mountains. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; a daughter, Sonja Bullard; a grandson, Shane Johnson; and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband, James Doyle “Jimmie” Johnson of Danville; two sons, Greg Johnson and Phillip Johnson, both of Danville; two daughters, Rhonda Tanksley and Tena . both of Danville; three brothers, Lonnie Coffman of Cullman, Larry Coffman and Billy Coffman, both of Eva; two sisters, Faye Carter of Eva and Janet Hicks of Decatur; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Bullard, Derrick Johnson, Cody Johnson, Jeremy Dotson, Dusty Johnson and Heath Compton.
