Funeral for Mrs. Mary Georgie Douglas Cline, 95, of Douglas Hollow in Olive Hill, Ky., will be at 2 p.m. Tues., April 2, at the Dry Branch Church of God in Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Delmar Logan Jr. and Brother Gayle Price officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bowen Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit from 6-9 p.m. Mon., April 1, 2013, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, Olive Hill, KY 41164, and after noon on Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Cline, 95, of Douglas Hollow in Olive Hill, Ky., died Wed., March 27, 2013, at her residence. She was born Oct. 1, 1917, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Clark and Margaret Johnson Douglas. Georgie was a Christian for over 70 years, was a charter member of the Dry Branch Church of God and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children’s father, George Cline; a son, James Rodney Cline; a daughter-in-law, Deborah Angel Cline; two brothers, George Elzie Douglas and James Estil Douglas; and two sisters, Eula Wilson and Juel Douglas.

Mrs. Cline is survived by a son, Roger Cline, Sr. of Olive Hill, Ky.; a daughter-in-law, Judith Cline of Cullman; three grandchildren, Roger Cline Jr. and wife Ginger of Ironton, Ohio, Danniel Cline and wife Heather of South Bend, Ind., and Kenda Hunt and husband Kendall of Falkville; nine great grandchildren, Hannah Cline, Austin Hunt, Joseph Cline, Paul Cline, Colette Cline, Justin Cline, Nicholas Cline, Mariale Cline and Padraig Cline; a sister, Betty Douglas of Olive Hill; and two special nieces, Janet Valerio of Olive Hill and Elizabeth Williams of Bedford, Ky. She also leaves many other family members, church family, neighbors, and friends who will sadly miss her.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Georgie’s great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
