Meth labs found near school

Four people have been arrested in connection with a methamphetamine lab bust Tuesday night, which occurred less than 1,000 feet from Priceville Elementary School.

Arrested suspects were Gary Clint Ogles Jr., 37; his brother, David Thomas Ogles, 36; Sandra Bates, 28; and Tiffany Massimini, 24.

Clint Ogles was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance first, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond, as he was out of prison on parole from a 2003 manufacturing charge.

David Ogles was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance first, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (meth) and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $250,000.

Bates was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance first, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (meth) and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Bates’ bond was set at $250,000.

Tiffany Massimini was charged with unlawful manufacturing a controlled substance first and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $225,000.

On March 19, Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents assisted Alabama Pardons and Parole Officers in doing a compliance check at 573 Cave Spring Road in Priceville. Both agencies had obtained information from “See Meth, Stop Meth” complaints that Clint Ogles was making methamphetamine at the residence, which is near Priceville Elementary School.

Agents discovered methamphetamine in Clint Ogles’ pocket and observed items in a detached garage that are used for the manufacturing of methamphetamine. After obtaining a search warrant, agents discovered eight one-pot meth labs, acid, lithium batteries, Drano, coffee filters, salt, HCL gas generators, finished methamphetamine, and several empty boxes of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine inside the garage.

Priceville VFD decontaminated all four suspects. All suspects were taken to the Morgan County Jail.
