Clifford Leon Hamilton

Funeral for Clifford Leon Hamilton, 87, of Muscle Shoals will be Tues., March 19, at 1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia.

Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tues., March 19, from noon-1 p.m., before the funeral.

Mr. Hamilton died March 16, 2013. Mr. Hamilton loved his country and served in the Army during WWII. He received a Purple Heart after being wounded while in Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Hamilton; and sister, Clara Hamilton Rickard.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Wells Hamilton; a daughter, Karen Hamilton Harris and husband Mike; grandchildren, Drew Harris and wife Kaelie, Emily Harris Crow and husband Tim, and Will Harris; and great- grandchildren, Mack and Lucy Crow.

Pallbearers will be Drew Harris, Will Harris, Tim Crow, Carlis Carmike, Jim Fuqua, and Don Bowling.

Memorials may be made to The Rocking Chair Fund at West Hartselle Baptist Church Nursery.
