Theron Lamar Breeding

Funeral for Theron Lamar Breeding, 86, of Hartselle will be Sun., March 17, at 3 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sat., March 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Breeding died Thur., March 14, 2013, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born June 13, 1926, in Morgan County to Michael “Mike” Lyle Breeding and Gladys May Sharp Breeding. Mr. Breeding was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Military honors will be rendered at the cemetery. He was a member of Hartselle Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Minnie Lee Hartselle Breeding; a daughter, Cathy Lee Campbell; and a sister, Janice Ware Breeding.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Martin Breeding of Hartselle; a son, Stephen Breeding and wife Joan of Franklin, Tenn.; a daughter, Elizabeth Gayle Thorton and husband George of Huntington, Tenn.; two step-sons, Stevon Martin and wife Sheila of Moulton and Mike Martin of Helena; two step-daughters, Cindy Reeder and husband Jim of Hartselle and Donna Glenn of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two brothers, Hertchel Evon Breeding of Montgomery and Harold Sharp Breeding of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Drew Breeding, Tyler Breeding, Wes Thornton, Cory Williams, Michael Allen, Ryan Campbell, Adam Campbell and Logan Campbell.
