Owens, Elkins to wed

Future Elkins

Gary and Beth Owens of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Whitney Owens, to Brandon Scott Elkins, son of Scott and Glenda Elkins of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Harold and Glenda Nau of Hartselle and Sue Morgan of Hanceville. She is the great-granddaughter of Jeanette Pitts of Hanceville. After graduating from Hartselle High School, she attended Wallace State Community College.
She is employed by Walgreen as a pharmacy tech.
The future groom is the grandson of Ruth Davis of Decatur and the late Hubert H. Davis of Gurley. He is the great-grandson of Marie Elkins and the late Glen Elkins of Huntsville. He attended Hartselle High School and Calhoun Community College and is employed by TEK Enterprises.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 28, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Hartselle Church of Christ in Hartselle.
