Shade Grove enjoys successful Bible school

Vacation Bible School at Shady Grove Baptist Church was a big success. It had an average daily attendance of 109 and reported an offering of $500. The theme this year was “Egypt—Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace.” Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time and the music was awesome.
The offering was donated to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham because it has helped so many children from the Danville-Neel area. Church members extend a big “thank you” to everyone who helped make the Bible school a success.
Congratulations go out this week to Kelsey Bell and C.J. Musick on the birth of their son, Dawson Maxwell Bell.  He was born June 16 weighing six pounds and 13 ounces and measuring 19 1/2 inches long. His proud grandparents are Shane and Amy Boyd, Kyle Bell, Jennifer Tilly and Charlie and Carla Musick. His proud great- grandparents are Dale ad Betty Boyd, Ed McClung, Betty Bell, Shirley Bell and Pat Gilstrap and the late Max Gilstrap.
Special belated happy birthday wishes go out this week to Tony Turrentine and Tran Griffin, both on July 14.

Belated happy wedding anniversary wishes go out this week to Rassie and Avis Wallace who celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on July 13 and Brian and Amber Pendleton who celebrated their special day on July 14.
Very special happy wedding anniversary wishes go out this week to Ken and Karen Callahan. They will celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary on July 15.
I ask all Hartselle Enquirer readers to pleased pray for David Lyell. He is a patient at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Mo in serious condition.
Shady Grove Baptist Church will host a “Life-Lift Class” on Sunday, July 25, at 4 p.m. Lift-Lift seeks to involve every church member in finding appropriate places for church ministry..
