Hilda Hampton

Funeral for Hilda Hampton, 71, of Vinemont was Thur., June 10, at 2 p.m. at Piney Grove Methodist Church with the Revs. Greg Standridge, Glen Woods and Jeff Sherrell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Hampton died Mon., June 7, 2010, at Hanceville Health and Rehab. She was born March 18, 1939, to Virgil Huffstutler and Bertha Maner Huffstutler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Hampton and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Lindy Hampton and wife Debbie of Danville; a daughter, Becky Bibb and husband Dwight of Vinemont; three brothers, Guy Huffstutler and wife Pat of Cullman and Larry Huffstutler and wife Carolyn and Stanley Self, all of Vinemont; a sister, Freda Sears and wife Ellis of Cullman; three grandchildren, Jonathan Livingston and wife Samantha, Cody Hampton and Jessica Bibb.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Livingston, Codey Hampton, George Hill, Buddy Flowers, Adam Lindsey and Cory Hibbs.
Honorary pallbearers were Ellis Sears and Johnnie Lee Scott.
