Facebook is topic of seminar

Appalachian Regional Commission and NARCOG in conjunction with Wallace State Community College in Hanceville will be offering a seminar on Facebook for Professionals.  Beginning with introductory level instruction and ending with details on how to set up a Facebook Fan Page, participants will gain an understanding of why using Facebook is valuable to their business and how to realistically handle the challenges of having a professional presence on Facebook.  The training will be led and facilitated by ShinyDoor (shinydoor.com), a company that assists small business, nonprofits and government agencies struggling with social networking.
The seminar will be held at Wallace State June 8 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Registration is $20 and limited to 20 participants.
For further information or to register, contact Melinda Edwards at  352-8172 or melinda.edwards @wallacestate.edu.
