Priest sworn in as Circuit Clerk

Chris Priest was sworn in as Morgan County Circuit Court Clerk by Probate Judge Greg Cain Wednesday afternoon, while his daughter Isabelle holds the Bible and wife Ruth looks on.
Priest Priest defeated his Democrat opponent, Martin Steelmon, 34,717 to 12,348 votes in the race for Morgan County Circuit Clerk. The term for the Circuit Clerk’s position is six year.
