Randall A. ‘Randy’ Hopper

Visitation for Randall A. ‘Randy’ Hopper will be Wed., Dec. 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Hopper died Sat., Dec. 22, 2012. He was born Nov. 7, 1947, in Morgan County to Robert Edward Hopper and Sarah Lucille (Blankenship) Hopper Kerwood. Mr. Hopper was “Randy” to those who knew and loved him. He was a loving father and grandfather. Randy lived most of his life in Chicago, Ill., but moved in recent years to North Alabama to be near his family. He was loved and will be truly missed. He was an electrician for the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, electrical union in Chicago, Ill.

He is survived by a son, Randall Anthony Hopper Jr. and wife Wanda of Las Vegas, Nev.; his mother, Lucille Kerwood of Somerville; three brothers, Robert Hopper Jr. and wife Terri and Ronald Bean and wife Ellen, all of Hartselle, and Roger Hopper and wife Carolyn of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Debbie Bender and husband Mark of Chicago, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
