Three people are in custody following a traffic stop in the Somerville area, in which officers founding items used to make methamphetamine.

Russell Henry Harvey, who is wanted for outstanding warrants, was arrested and charged with four counts of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance – methamphetamine 1st degree, attempt to commit a controlled substance crime, unlawful possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $15,300.

Jennifer Tudor, who was wanted on several arrest warrants, was arrested and charged with attempt to commit a controlled substance crime and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $2,800.

Emmet Beasley was arrested and will be extradited to the Arab Police Department for his outstanding warrants.

Sheriff Ana Franklin said a traffic stop was initiated in the Somerville area Wed., Dec. 12, at Alabama 67 and Broad Street.

Three of the four passengers had outstanding warrants with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office as well as Arab Police Department. During a search of vehicle, deputies located several items associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, such as instant cold packs, lithium batteries, lye and hypodermic syringes.

Morgan County Drug Task Force agents arrived on the scene, spoke with the suspects and obtained a verbal consent from Harvey to search his residence and property after learning that his 3-year-old granddaughter may possibly be at the residence, located at 75 Henderson Greenwell Road in the Somerville area.

During the search, agents discovered four one-pot methamphetamine labs, liquid methamphetamine as well as materials and chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine in a shed and in wooded area behind residence.
