Funeral for Vera Dean Walker, 97, of Auburn, formerly of Union, was Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Wilhelm and Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in Alabaster. She was a member of the Church of Christ faith and was the widow of Dr. E.H. Walker.
She is survived by two sons, Denver Walker of Calera and Edwin Walker of Eclectic; two daughters, Erlene Davis of Calera and Betty Dean Kelly of Hartselle; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Walker, Bryan Walker, Steve Davis, Walker Davis, Phil Wayne Davis, Frank Sledge, Vann Kelly, Glenn Kelly and Shane Estes.
