The Rotary Club of Decatur will partner with the Princess Theater for the Performing Arts to present a free “Peace Through Service” Family Movie Night featuring the classic movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” on Mon., Dec. 1, at approximately 7 p.m.

The movie is scheduled to follow the annual Downtown Christmas Parade that begins at 6 p.m. Admission is free and tickets will be issued at the door beginning at 6 p.m.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” was produced and directed by Frank Capra. It stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a successful businessman and community leader who contemplates suicide before his guardian angel appears and turns his life around. Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore also star in the movie.

Rotary members will serve as ushers and PACT will conduct its Toy Drive in the lobby during the movie. The audience is invited to bring Christmas gifts for children of all ages.
