Funeral for Eula V. Lawrence, 94, of Hartselle, was Tues., Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapelwith the Rev. Walter Blackman officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Lawrence died Sun., Sept. 27, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 21, 1915, in Morgan County to Paschel “Pat” Andrew Couey and Ethel Elise Yeager Couey. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Brasher Lawrence.
She is survived by a son, Hamil Lawrence and wife Louise of Hartselle; a daughter, Patsy Ann Townson and husband Oliver of Hartselle; a brother, Alvin Couey and wife Martha Ann of Hartselle; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, Karen Wakefield and husband Luther of Neel, Kelly Townson and wife Donna of Hartselle, Karla Ellis and husband Chelcie of Hartselle, Marian Love and husband Rodney of Florida, Benjaman Town-son, Timothy Wakefield, James Wakefield, Olivia Ellis and Ivana Ellis, all of Hartselle, Nick Love, Avery Love and Alexis Love, all of Florida, Bobby Lawrence Sr. and wife Linda of Danville, Charles Lawrence and wife Joyce of Hartselle, Elizabeth Kimbrough and husband Seth, Bobby Lawrence Jr., Jakob, Bailey and Brasher Lawrence.
Pallbearers were Ben-jaman Townson, Kelly Townson, Chelcie Ellis, Bobby Lawrence Sr., Bobby Lawrence Jr. and Charles Lawrence.
