Reba Lucile Ward Stinson

Funeral for Reba Lucile Ward Stinson, 83, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), April 16, at 12 noon at Gum Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Stinson died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born August 20, 1925, in Morgan County to Leldon “Sam” Ward and Nannie Montgomery Ward.
She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and worked in the lunchroom at Plainview/Sparkman Elementary School for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James A. Stinson; a sister, Pearl Baker; and two brothers, Hilton and Wilburn Ward.
She is survived by two sons, Scotty Stinson and wife Shannon of Somerville and Mike Stinson and wife Melonie of Hartselle; two daughters, Rachel Wigginton and husband Floyd of Hartselle and Gail Alsbrooks and husband Greg of Decatur; two brothers, Hack Ward of Hartselle and Boot Ward of Falkville; five sisters, Aline White and husband Alfred, Vanita Ray, Yvonne Russell and husband Bobby and Jean Self and husband Jimmy, all of Hartselle, and Brenda Sparks and husband Royce of Gardendale; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
