Hartselle Civitan elects new officers

Hartselle Civitan Club installed officers for 2012-2013 recently with Ann Edwards, Area 3 director for Alabama District North presiding.

Nancy Busby was installed as president, Janice Taylor as president-elect and Rita Sims as secretary-treasurer.

Hartselle Civitans meet at Sparkman Civic Center in Room #10 on the first and third Monday nights of each month at 6 p.m.

The scheduled Oct. 15th meeting has been changed to Oct. 22.

The club is planning a member meeting on Nov. 9th at 6 p.m. and encourages anyone who is interested in becoming a member to come.

One of the club’s main interests is doing community service work and promoting the completion of the John Mark Stallings Special Needs Accessible Playground (SNAP) in Sparkman Park. For more information, please call Busby at 256-303-5466 or Sims at 256-773-5904.
