Priceville charters service club

Students at Priceville High School have been offered an opportunity to participate in an international community service and leadership club.
Charter ceremonies for the Priceville High School Junior Civitan Club were held at the school Aug. 28 and student interest was high.
Of the 60 available memberships, 57 were filled at induction. Others will be asked to join later.
Attending the ceremonies; Barbara and John Dean of the Priceville Civitan Club, Civitan Club Alabama District Governor Oran Tyler, District Jr. Civitan Chair Donna Grice, Advisor Mary An Bryson, Priceville Civitan Club President Ray Durham, and Priceville Mayor Melvin Duran.
Charter officers are as follows: Co-Presidents Sumer Swaim and Josh Heflin, Co-Vice Presidents J.R. Westmoreland and Emily White, Secretary Candice Spurlin, Treasurer Whitney Blackwood, Public Relations Coordinator Ashten Houser, Directors Brittany Helton, Whitley Scruggs and Catlin Williams, Sergeant at Arms Dale Taylor, Chaplain Kenny Corder, and Historians Kari Heard, Katie McCullough and Emily White.
