Stephen Ellis Baggs

Funeral for Stephen Ellis Baggs, 57, of Hartselle was Friday, Jan., 2, at 2 p. m. at First United Methodist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Dr. Terry Greer officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Baggs died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008. He was born Sept. 24, 1951, in Atlanta, Ga. to Ellis Baggs and Jeflin Landers Baggs. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a member of First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Rowe Baggs of Hartselle; two daughters, Elizabeth Ford Baggs of New York, N.Y. and Sarah Ellis Baggs of Hartselle; a son, John Rowe Baggs and wife Sarah of Birmingham; his parents Ellis and Jeflin Baggs of Decatur; and two brothers, Mark B. Baggs and wife Kedra of Daphne and Jonathon Ford Baggs and wife Stephania of Decatur.
Pallbearers were John Barran, Bayne Vaughan, Dyrc Sybryns, ErnieWillians, Calvin Brown, Mike Curl, Rick Paler and Steve Blake.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
