A graveside service for Bessie Lou Kent Looney, 83, of Hartselle was Monday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Looney died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at her residence. She was born June 2, 1925, in Morgan County to Elbert and Lula McDaniel Kent. She was preceded in death by a granddaugher, Cassie Smith.
She is survived by a son, William “Bo”Tunstill and wife Ellen of Jasper; two daughters, Renee Schuemake and husband Johnny of Hartselle and Austine Brown and husband Don of Somerville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
