Devereux, Ellis wed

Maggie Colin Ellis of Pelham and Robert Patrick Devereux of Pelham were wed Aug. 30, 2008, at Cathedral of St. Paul, Birmingham.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Regina Ellis of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Robert and Janice Devereux of Palm Coast, Fla.
Father Kevin Bazzel officiated the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Ashley Clemons of Marion was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Marguerite Devereux, sister of the groom, Palm Coast, Fla.; Annie Fisk, cousin of the bride, Lexington, Ky.; Shelly Gerrard, Tuscaloosa; Joni Griffin, Fultondale; and Meagan Hoff, Hartselle.
Best man was Timothy Devereux, brother of the groom, Palm Coast, Fla.
Groomsmen were David Brunson, Mountain Brook; Matthew Ellis, brother of the bride, Decatur; Brook Eson, Birmingham; Clayton Kirkland, Pelham; and Andrew Klein, Birmingham.
Ushers were Matt Hawk, Tuscaloosa and Ricky White, Addison.
Music was provided by Stephan Calvert, director of music/ organist; Mandy Donaldson, soloist; and Tell Alessio, cantor.
A reception was held at The Great Hall at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.
Wedding director was Megan Wyatt. D/cor was provided by K &M Design.
Guests were entertained by The Ray Reach Jazz Quartet and the reception was catered by the The Fish Market Restaurant.
Bride’s book attendant was Holly Widrig, aunt of the bride.
After a honeymoon trip to Barbados, the couple will reside in Pelham.
