Charles Wigginton

Funeral for Charles Wigginton, 83, of Somerville was Sun., Sept. 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Ledlow officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Wigginton died Fri., Sept. 7, 2012. He was born in Morgan County on July 5, 1929, to Charlie Wigginton and Gertrude Russell Wigginton. He was a Korean War veteran who served in the infantry and was retired from Teledyne Wah Chang after 33 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Chandler Peralta.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Fraye Wigginton of Somerville; a son, Lynn Wigginton of Somerville; a daughter, Lisa Peralta of California; two brothers, Jim Wigginton of West Virginia and Doug Wigginton of Somerville; two sisters, Sue Nelson of Somerville and Jean Shuck of Orange Beach; four grandchildren, Kyle and Carla Wigginton and Chase and Chad Peralta.

Pallbearers were Lynn Wigginton, Rance Wigginton, Josh Griffith, Kyle Wigginton, Cooper Wigginton and Mike Hudson.
