Funeral for Melvin Michael Gaines Bell, 62, of Danville was Fri., Aug. 31, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger White and the Rev. Berry Cook officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gaines died on Wed., Aug. 29, 2012. He was born Jan. 9, 1950, in Jefferson County to William Elbert Bell and Lena Estelle Hall McGuire.
He is survived by a brother, Randy Gaines and wife Lisa of Trinity; and a sister, Mabelou Bell Turner of Danville.
Pallbearers were family members.
