Hartselle volleyball team tops Addison

Hartselle’s Lady Tigers won their first volleyball game of the season, defeating Addison, 26-24, 14-25, 25-14, 25-23, on the road .

First year varsity player Taylor Dellinger led the team in kills with 14 and blocks with five along with 17 digs and an assist.

Taylor Lybarger came up with eight kills, 16 digs, two assists, a block and an ace. Kaylee Shelton scored seven kills, two blocks and a dig. Haley Jared had four kills, nine digs, 23 assists and four blocks.

Melissa Paul Hill scored three kills, 12 assists, three digs and two blocks. Sara Ellen Battle has 28 digs, a kill, an assist and an ace. Tori Denslow had two kills, two blocks ad a dig.

The Lady Tigers will play in the Briarwood Tournament this weekend.
