The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for its help in identifying suspects who caused damage at the Eva Bank after the bank denied a transaction on Aug. 8.

The man, who was observed by surveillance bank footage, attempted to make two different transactions using a social security funds card but was denied due to lack of identification and lack of a PIN number.

According to a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office press release, the male suspect became irate and left the bank. An unknown female picked him up in a burgundy GMC pickup truck, 1990s model, possibly with Tennessee license plates.

As the vehicle left the area, it intentionally struck the bank’s central air unit, causing $3,700 in damages.
