Fred William 'Jack' Sanford

Funeral for Fred William 'Jack' Sanford, 89, and Lois Audrey Sanford, 82, of Danville was Monday, July 22, at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with the Revs. Dan Compton and Francis Proctor officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. and Mrs. Sanford died Friday, July 19, 2002, in Cullman County. Mr. Sanford was a native of Morgan County and Mrs. Sanford was a native of Lawrence County. They were both members of Friendship Baptist Church South of Danville. Mr. Sanford was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
They are survived by one son, Frankey Sanford of Danville; one daughter, Joyce Sanford of Danville; one grandchild; and one great grandchild. Mr. Sanford is survived by one brother, Earnest Sanford of Decatur; and two sisters, Marie Steele and Pauline Prater, both of Danville. Mrs. Sanford is survived by one brother, Travis Asherbranner of Danville.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
