Jackson, Thrasher to wed
Barbara Ann Jackson of Knoxville, Tenn. and Christopher David Thrasher of Hartselle announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Jim and Phyllis Routson of Lenoir City, Tenn. and David and Julie Jackson of Maryville, Tenn.
She is the granddaughter of Glen and Sarah Duncan of Knoxville, Tenn. and the late Bob and Barbara Thompson of Farragut, Tenn.
A 1997 graduate of Farragut High School, she is currently pursuing a degree in sociology at Middle Tennessee State University.
The future groom is the son of David and Theresa Thrasher of Hartselle. He is the grandson of Betty C. Thrasher of Decatur and the late Newton C. Thrasher, the late Thomas G. Kilgariff of Chicago, Ill. and the late Mary E. Schilleman of Gadsden. A 1997 graduate of Athens Bible School, he is a 2002 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in history.
He will graduate in December with a master’s in American history from Middle Tennessee State University.
The wedding is planned for June 26 in Brentwood, Tenn.
