Danville High to host FFA Nationals benefit

Danville High School will host a FFA National benefit on Thur., Aug. 30, at 5 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Food will be provided by the Morgan County Cattlemen’s Association. It will include a rib eye steak sandwich, chips, dessert and drink for $10.

Entertainment will be provided by the school’s FFA string band, “Grassy Divide”.

All help and support of Danville FFA is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations and best wishes go out to Jamie Elizabeth Garrison and Brennan Thomas Jones who were married in Great Falls, Mont. on July 7.

Jamie is the granddaughter of Wesley and Evelyn Garrison.

Registration is now open for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Montgomery on Sept. 9, 2012. There is a $25 registration fee with all proceeds going to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The event will be held at the RSA Building. For more information, call Brantley Greene at 334-850-7796. A big thank you goes out to all firefighters and EMTs.
