Funeral service for Eva Dale Goree, 54, of Somerville will be Wed., Aug. 8, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Oden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Nelson Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will be Tues., Aug. 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Goree died Sun., Aug. 5, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 6, 1958, in Morgan County to Marvin Newton Eubanks and Eva Katherine Tidwell Eubanks. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a special friend: Gene Callahan of Somerville; three brothers, Billy Eubanks of Somerville, Danny Eubanks of Athens and Larry Eubanks of Neel; and three sisters, Faye Callahan, Bonnie Miller and Emma Little, all of Somerville.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Goodwin, Jonathan Goodwin, Michael Miller, Billy Suggs Jr., Shannon Goodwin and Dale Champion.
