Reeves, Peck to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Byron Reeves of Somerville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Elizabeth Reeves, also of Somerville, to James Arthur Peck, son of Mr. and Mrs. James David Peck of Hartselle.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robert Durand of Somerville and the late Mr. Robert Durand and Mrs. Gertrude Taylor of Seattle, Wash. and the late Mr. John Reeves. She is a 2008 graduate of Hartselle High School and will graduate in July with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hoyt “Ike” Groover and Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Peck, all of Hartselle. He is a 2007 graduate of Hartselle High School and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University. He was also a member of Auburn’s Sigma Chi Fraternity and is employed with the family business at Peck Funeral Home.

The wedding will be July 21, 2012, at Hartselle First United Methodist Church.
