Priceville, Danville girls’ soccer has perfect week

Priceville continued their hot start to the season with a 3-0 win over county rival West Morgan. Lillyan Bloodworth scored two goals to lead the Priceville attack. Anna Katherine Hopkins added a goal and an assist.

Goalkeeper Tori Staats had four saves in the shutout.

Danville 3, West Limestone 1
Danville scored two second-half goals to pull away for a 3-1 win over West Limestone. The Sherrill sisters, freshman Layla and junior Maddie, each scored a goal, with Layla adding an assist. Brylee Terry added a goal and an assist, while Josie Bailey had an assist.

Danville 6, Elkmont 2
The Lady Hawks scored five first-half goals in their 6-2 win over Elkmont. Layla Sherrill led the way with five goals and an assist, while her sister Maddie had a goal and an assist. Terry added an assist. Goalkeeper Reyes had 15 saves in the win.
