Brewer drops area contests to Russellville

The Brewer Patriots battled with Russellville, who entered the game atop the area, but came up short in their 77-64 loss to the Golden Tigers last Tuesday. The Patriots trailed 38-31 at halftime.

Jackson Dunn led Brewer with 22 points and six rebounds. Cason Oden added 16 points and seven rebounds, while Austyn Holmes had 10 points and six rebounds.

Russellville 58, Brewer 52

The Brewer Lady Patriots fell to 1-3 in area play with a 58-52 loss to Russellville last Tuesday. Khloe Grandstaff led the Lady Patriots with 14 points. Madisyn Freeman scored 12 points, while Bailey Hale added 11 points.
