The Priceville Lady Bulldogs opened their 2023-24 season with a matchup of two of the best teams in North Alabama, taking on Mortimer Jordan on the Blue Devils’ home floor.

The Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 16-7 lead following the first quarter. However, Mortimer Jordan outscored Priceville 16-10 in the second quarter to cut the Lady Bulldogs’ lead to 26-23 heading into halftime.

The Lady Blue Devils took a 40-37 lead into the fourth quarter. They pulled away for the 55-45 win by outscoring Priceville 15-8 in the final quarter.

Abby Langlois led Priceville with 15 points and six rebounds, while Gracin Prater added nine points, five rebounds and five assists. Ashlyn Johnson and Amberleigh Dean both finished with seven points. Johnson also had five rebounds.
