Morgan flu clinic set for Oct. 17

The Morgan County Health Department and the Morgan County Emergency Management Agency are hosting a Point of Dispensing drive-thru flu clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at Central Baptist Church, located at 2801 Highway 31 S., Decatur.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends everyone over the age of six months get a flu shot, but it is especially recommended for the following people considered at-risk:  

Pregnant women 

People over age 50 

Anyone with a chronic disease 

Healthcare personnel 

The purpose of the clinic is to provide the public with a flu vaccine to assist in reducing flu illness and prevent flu-related hospitalizations. Flu shots are $5 or free with Medicare card.
