Title: “Return to Virgin River

Author: Robyn Carr

Robyn Carr has returned to her most popular series. In Return to Virgin River, we are introduced to new characters Kaylee and Landry and their story of loss and healing. Their little world includes a rescued kitten and a dog and her litter of puppies.

You will be reunited with familiar characters like Jack and Mel and even Preacher, the cook. I hope you enjoy visiting this quaint little town that I wish really did exist.

If you can’t check out her books, then try the Virgin River Series on Netflix.

Return to Virgin River is the 19th in her series. If you have not read any other the others, please stop by the William Bradford Huie Library of Hartselle and check out the previous books we have of hers.

TitleWho Was Nellie Bly?

Author: Margaret Gurevich

Reading Level: Fourth through sixth grade

This is the latest book in the wonderful Who Was series.  As with all their books, this book is well written, informative and interesting.

Author Margaret Gurevich effectively tells the trials Nellie Bly faced being a female investigative reporter in a field that was dominated by men. Nellie Bly championed people and causes that had no one to listen to them and pursued justice.

Overall, this is a great book.

Hope to see you soon at the library!  Happy reading!
