FALKVILLE- The Blue Devils didn’t hold back in their 2018 Homecoming game at Burl Vest Stadium, putting up 55 points on opponent Valley Head High School.

The Blue Devils opened up quarter one with an 80-yard run for a touchdown by Fred Walls, but their two-point conversion attempt failed.
Quarterback Aaron Dove called Noah Holmes’ number at the 10:49 mark of the second quarter with a 15-yard touchdown pass play. The PAT was good by Marcus Klocek, sending the score to 13-0.

Dove called his own number six minutes later and wrapped up an offensive drive with a one-yard run for a touchdown. Klocek added the extra point.

Falkville’s offensive attitude remained relentless, and playmakers continued to step up in the first half with two more scores – the first with one minute to play in the second quarter on a 31-yard touchdown run by Walls, plus the PAT by Klocek.
The second was with 36 seconds left in the first half. Dove connected with Holmes on a 15-yard pass for a touchdown. Klocek added the PAT, and FHS led the Tigers of Valley Head 34-0 at the half.

The Blue Devils continued to be explosive in the second half. Their next score was at the 10:07 point of the third period. Walls moved the ball 39 yards and walked into the end zone. Klocek remained true on his PAT.

With 4:46 to go in the third, Noah Holmes grabbed his first big round of rushing yards, scoring a 63-yard touchdown. The PAT by Klocek was good, and Falkville had 48 unanswered points on the board.
The fourth quarter made way for Valley Head’s lone score of the game. With nine minutes to play, quarterback Jordan Burt connected with Ian Blair on a 59-yard pass play. Their two-point conversion failed.
Falkville ended with a final Blue Devil touchdown on the back of Christian Angulo. He finished with a 28-yard touchdown run, and Klocek added his final PAT of the game.
Falkville (4-0) finished the game 55-6 over Valley Head.

Walls managed six carries for 163 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Dove was 10/13 passing with 130 yards in the air.

Holmes managed four grabs for 103 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Jacob Holladay led in tackles with nine, while Luke Fitzgerald and Devin Johnson each had six.

Falkville will travel to R.A. Hubbard Friday.
