PURPLE PRIDE IN DANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL’S HAWKS

Purple Pride in Danville High School’s Hawks football has never been at a higher point. Coach Josh LouAllen has an optimistic outlook for this 2017 season, his third at Danville High School. The team, coaches, families and fans are excited about playing toward a spot in competitions, at the end of regular games. Hawks, returning for the new year, who are key to success are Jacob Moorehead who was a major asset to offense last year. Also Cody Cribbs as quarterback, he has been second quarterback for three years. Trevor Flowers, Preston Tucker Boyd, Tysne Coker, Trevor Bradford and Corey Cunningham offer excitement on the defensive and offensive lines. Lucas Sparks is a new player and we wish him well and all of the Hawks. It was worth the effort preparing for the Falkville Blue Devils game with the win in the last few minutes, on Friday night, Sept. 1 at Falkville’s Burl Vest Stadium. What a thrill for the Hawks and fans. Congratulations go out to the Hawks on their work, dedication and spirit. Also to families and fans, cheerleaders, band, the Hawks Boosters Club and others involved in the football program for 2017. GO HAWKS!
