Funeral for Ken Maxwell, 51, of Somerville was Tues., Jan. 24, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ira Laney officiating.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Maxwell died Sat., Jan. 21, 2017, at his residence.  He was born Sept. 3, 1965, in Decatur to Wayne Maxwell and Elizabeth Couey Maxwell.  He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Somerville. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Maxwell; a daughter, Brittany Maxwell; and two sisters, Glynda Maxwell Cobb and Robbie Rene Maxwell.
He is survived by a daughter Nicole Maxwell of Decatur; his mother, Elizabeth Couey Maxwell of Somerville; his sister, Rhonda Maxwell (Cliff) Booth of Hartselle.

Pallbearers were Jeff Johnson, Michael Sharp, Darryl Sharp, Alan Kirby, Jeremy Johnson and Ken Wiggington.
