Marotta, Condo exchange wedding vows

Cassandra Marotta and John Condo, both of Madison were married at Creekside Plantation May 29, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. at. Kevin Harris-Mayle officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Jamie Marotta of Huntsville. She is also the granddaughter of Deloris Farrier and Lloyd Kendal of Hopwood, Penn., and the late August and Mary Lou Marotta.

The groom is the son of Geannie Ashford and Steve Condo of Decatur. He is the grandson of June Wallace and the late Ernest Powell of Hartselle and Edna and the late William Condo of Decatur.

Serving as maids of honor was sister of the bride, Nikkie Marotta and Erin Cheng. Bridesmaids were Ashley Brede, Melissa Groce and Sarah McHugh and junior bridesmaid was Caroline Bendickson.

The flower girl was Lyla Harris-Mayle.

The best man was Russell Powell. Groomsmen were Jon Bendickson, Drew Sloan, Charlie Huff and Joel Gladdis.

The ring bearers were Auggie Mayle and Vaughn Kocka.

The music at the ceremony was live music provided by Cody Keller and the music at the reception was provided by DJ Bruce Klucharich.

The couple honeymooned at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts and are currently residing in Madison.

The couple was honored with several prenuptial events:

• A rehearsal dinner was given by Stacy and Geannie Ashford and Jon and Michelle Bendickson at the Carriage House at Heritage Plantation.

• A shower was held on April 2 by Randy and Carol Powell.

• A shower was held on April 3 by Jon and Michelle Bendickson and Marc and Sheryl Bendickson.

• A Bridal tea was held May 27 at Owens Cross Roads by the bride’s sister, Nikki Marotta.

• A Bridal shower was held March 27 at the Chocolate Bar in Huntsville by Gail Markert.

• A Bridal shower was held May 11 at the Huntsville Hospital Laboratory by Suzanne Mooney.
