Faulkner, Asher to wed

Byron and Anita Faulkner of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlin Leigh Faulkner to Corey Aaron Asher, son of Terry Asher and Jeff and Paula Brown, all of Decatur.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dale and Betty Boyd of Danville, Dean Martin and the late Gene Martin of Hartselle and O.L. and Joyce Faulkner of Moulton.

She is a 2008 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is currently a histology technician in Huntsville.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Harold and the late Betty Gleichert of Mobile and James and Shirley Asher of Chattanooga, Tenn.

He is a 2008 graduate of West Morgan High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He is currently employed as an electrical engineer in Huntsville.

The wedding will be Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. at the Founder’s Hall on the campus of Athens State University.
