Funeral for Ima Boger Hughes, 93, of Falkville will be Wed.,  April 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stephen Cannon and Bro. Greg Burcham officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed., April 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hughes died Sun., April 24, 2016, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born July 30, 1922, in Morgan County to Homer Boger and Lola (Tidwell) Boger. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Falkville and was a cook for Summerford Nursing Home prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Solon M. Hughes and a sister, Jean Knox Mooney.

She is survived by a son, Mitchell Hughes (Linda) of Hartselle; a daughter, Sally Butler (Jim), of Hartselle; a brother Hewlett Boger (Mary) of Albertville; a sister, Jackie Stiles of Hartselle; six grandchildren, Daphne Cost, Mandy Ransom, Melanie Calvert, Michael Butler, Nathan Butler and Sarah Butler; and three great-grandchildren, Dillon Cost, Halle Ransom and Lily Ransom.

Pallbearers will be Michael Butler, Dillon Cost, Steve Boger, Mike Garnett, Chris Garnett, Jason Self and Lamar Knox
