Horace Thomas Draper

Funeral for Horace Thomas Draper, 88, of Somerville was Mon., April 25, at 1:15 p.m. at United Church of God with Pastor David Taylor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Draper died Fri., April 22, 2016, at his residence. He was born June 3, 1927, in Morgan County to William Horace Draper and Bertha Mae Robinson Draper. He was retired as a press operator for Chore-time Cage Equipment. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Draper; his parents; and a granddaughter, Shawn Evans.

He is survived by a son, Ricky Draper (Kathy) of Falkville; a daughter, Bonnie Evans (Andy) of Trinity; a brother, AL Draper of Hartselle; two sisters, Lavern Ramey of Hartselle and Margaret Hammack of Decatur; four stepchildren; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Evan Aday, Jake Aday, James Short, Lee Draper, Chase Clemons and Spencer Clemons.
