Grady Albert Miller

Funeral for Grady Albert Miller, 89, of Danville was Wed., April 20, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Francis Proctor and Bro. Charles Williams officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery at Speake.

Mr. Miller died Mon., April 18, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born March 1, 1927, in Lawrence County to Lee Albert Miller and Sleety Hill Miller. He served for three years in the U.S. Army and retired from Goodyear Mill with 22 years of service. After retirement, he started working on clocks which he enjoyed very much as a hobby and it helped him meet some nice people. As long as he was able, he enjoyed riding horses with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tonya Lynn Miller; three brothers, Fred, Robert and Dub Miller; and a sister, Evelyn Haswel. Mrs. Miller states, “He was a precious husband, I loved him dearly and will miss him so much.”

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Kelso Miller of Speake; a sister, Irene Ragsdale of Speake; many precious nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and they loved him dearly.

Pallbearers were Terry Hill, Larry Hill, Keith Ferguson, David Ferguson, David Hitt, Steve White and Doug White.
