A military graveside service for James Henry Cramer, 58, of Indianapolis, formerly of Athens, will be Sun., Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jack M. Redfearn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Sun., Feb. 21, from 1 to 1:40 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cramer died Tues., Feb. 16, 2016, at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. He was born Jan. 8, 1958, in Pontiac, MI to Alvis Ussery Cramer and Martha Elizabeth Belcher Cramer. James was a very free-spirited person and an accomplished guitar player. He was very family oriented and a huge Alabama fan. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Enterprise from 1976-1980. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary Anne Cramer.

He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Davis (Jeff) of Hartselle; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Pam Chaffin.

Pallbearers will be David Springer, Josh Craig, Aaron Craig, Chris Davis and Michael Overall.
