Ashlee Stephenson and Christopher Wallace. | Special to the Enquirer

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thrasher of Haleyville and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Stephenson of Waynesboro, Tenn. announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashlee Denise Stephenson to Christopher Byron Wallace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Wallace.

Miss Stephenson is a 2010 graduate of Haleyville High School and is attending Athens State University for a human resources management degree. She currently works at Wilson Plastic Surgery in Huntsville.

Mr. Wallace is a 2006 graduate of Hartselle High School and has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Athens State University. He is currently employed by NASA as a web developer.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 5, 2015, at 2 p.m. at East Highland Baptist Church in Hartselle.
