Legend of Sleepy Hollow auditions set

College Street Players announces auditions for their upcoming production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Vera Morris.

Jenny Faulk will direct the show, which will be cast for seventh graders through adults.

The production will be a drama, not a musical. Principal characters will be cast on acting ability, as well as character description and stage presence.

Those auditioning should be prepared to present a one-minute dramatic monologue to be considered for a principal character. Cold reads will be required at the audition.

Auditions will be held at the Hartselle Fine Arts Center Sat., Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon and Mon., Aug. 10, from 6-8 p.m. with call backs Mon., Aug. 10, from 8-9 p.m.

Cast lists will be posted by 8 a.m. Tues., Aug. 11. Cast meetings will be held Tues., Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. The first rehearsal will be Mon., Aug. 17, at 6:30 p.m.

Production dates are Oct. 22-25 with six performances at the Hartselle High School Auditorium.
