Nail competes in Women’s State Stroke Play

A Hartselle native began playing in the 25th annual Women’s State Stroke Play Championship Tues., July 28, at Shoal Creek.
University of Mobile student Heather Nail, who currently holds the title of State Amateur champion, will be playing against several other Alabama Golf Association champions including defending champion Alison Hovatter of Ole Miss and 10-time State Amateur champion Kathy Hartwiger.
The tournament will continue through Thursday with tee times from 8-10:10 a.m. off holes one and 10.
