Atkins, Wynn to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Atkins of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Renae Atkins to Joel Dean “J.D.” Wynn III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jody Wynn of Hartselle.

Miss Atkins is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Nash and the late John Nash, Mrs. Marie Atkins and the late Gordon Atkins, all of Hartselle.

She is a 2008 graduate of Hartselle High School. She is employed as a middle school/high school teacher at Cullman Christian School in Cullman.

Mr. Wynn is the grandson of Ms. Bobby Hopson, Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Legg and the late Joel Wynn, all of Hartselle.

He is a 2007 graduate of Danville High School and is employed at Hood RV in Priceville as an RV tech.

The wedding is planned for July 18, 2015, at Flint Baptist Church in Decatur at 6 p.m.
