Local business to receive national attention

A Decatur business is soon to receive national attention as it partners with an RFD-TV program.

Fredricks Outdoor, which sells tractors, lawnmowers, marine equipment and ATVs, has signed a contract to partner with RFD’s program The Right Place. A portion of each episode will be filmed in Fredericks, and the store will be featured in advertisements on the station. The Right Place is hosted by country singer Kevin Sport and is viewed by approximately 43 million people each week.  The majority of the show is filmed at Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant in Columbia, Tenn.

Fredericks Outdoor will also have a family event on the evening of October 31 with music and fun activities. Sport will attend, and acclaimed country singer Marty Raybon and his band, Shenandoah, will provide the evening entertainment.

Fredericks Outdoor was first opened in Hartselle in 1996 before moving to its current location on South Bethel Road in Decatur.
