Hartselle Enquirer

A letter from Cedar Creek FWB Church’s new pastor

Cliff Tomlinson

Special to the Enquirer

The newly elected pastor Cliff Tomlinson and wife, Suzanna, along with the congregation of Cedar Creek FWB Church would like to invite you come and worship with us.

Sue and I recently moved here from North Carolina. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God, given to man by the Holy Spirit. I take the preaching of God’s Word to be serious and I believe the man of God needs to prayerfully study and seek God’s will for every sermon. I believe and preach the truth of God’s word without compromise. We as God’s people need to earnestly strive to live by God’s word. We live in a time when we need truth. As your pastor, I strive not only to preach the truth, but have the desire to be your minister showing love and compassion to all people without partiality. We are all the same in the eyes of our Lord.

The pastor should not only preach and live by truth, but should be a minister to the people. Sue and I want to be those kinds of servants. We want to serve you with love and compassion, believing it is God’s will for our lives and yours as well. Christians should have that kind of love and compassion for all people.

If you have the same desires to worship God and to love one another, come grow with us as we worship God together in the power of the Holy Spirit.

May God bless you.

Cliff Tomlinson is the newly elected pastor of Cedar Creek FWB Church.
